The Asus G73JW is a high-end 17.3" gaming laptop released in fall 2010 as an upgrade to the original G73. The G73JW mainly offers enhanced 3D-ready graphics, via one of Nvidia's new DirectX 11-optimized mobile Fermi cards.
Both the G73JW and the 15.6" G53JW utilize the 1.5GB GDDR5 GeForce GTX 460M. The notebook is available with one of several processors from Intel's 2010 lineup, ranging from a 2.13GHz Core i3 to a quad-core i7 unit overclocked to 3.33GHz.
The G73JW comes with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and an optional Blu-ray drive to take advantage of a high-resolution, LED-backlit display.
